I was so pleased with the outcome of my antique dining room table and chair set. After talking to Ed Gillen of New England Refinishing and comparing his prcies and professionalism with other refinishers in the area, I was 100% confident that he would provide me with beautiful results. I wasn't disappointed. This furniture set will now be a gorgeous asset in our house for at least another couple generations!

Ed, When a job is particularly well done, compliments are in order. We just received the refinished mahogany China cabinet and the Governor Winthrop desk. The stripping and refinishing quality is outstanding and the pieces look new even though they date back to the first half of the 1900s. The refreshed brass hardware on the desk is vibrant. The curved glass in the China cabinet is now accentuated as a result of the cabinet colors. All in all, we are thrilled with the outcome and also enjoyed the opportunity to visit your shop and receive a history lesson on mahogany. What a treat! Warm regards, Dave L.

Hi Ed, Hope you remember us. You've done quite a bit of work for us over the years. We have a new project for you. By the way, remember the highchair, crib and little rocking chair you refinished for me a few years ago? Well our now 2 year old grand daughter has been using them all! So cool that these things that were mine as a baby, and then used by our kids are now being used by her all due to your excellent work!!

Dear Ed, I must tell you that I absolutely love my sideboard. The refinishing came out beautifully and it looks like a well preserved antique. Thank you for adding the wood and making the side shelves solid, I already put some of my serving bowls in them. Even the mirror looks great. Thank you so much for a superb job.

We used your company to refinish our kitchen cabinets about 4 years ago (and our kitchen still looks awesome). I've have a couple single pieces of furniture that need refinishing. When would be a good time to drop them off. Also we would like to refinish our bathroom cabinets. Could you give us a cost for that?

A Job Well Done
When we first met Ed we knew he was a good business man and dedicated to doing hid job correctly. His explaination was clear and honest and we knew what to expect. He constantly checked on the job and was in contact with us every step of the way. The kitchen cabinets came out beautifully and we are thrilled. Conference Room Table
I am pleased to recommend Ed Gillen and New England Refinishing. In May 2007, I contracted with Ed to refinish the conference room table for my company. He was able to beautifully refnish a table that had approximately 10 years of office wear and tear. His team was very professional and arrived on time to retrieve the table. The work was completed ahead of schedule and Ed accommodated my need to wait until after our headquarters relocation to return the table to us. I would readily call New England Refinishing in the future.

Board Room Table
Ed, I wanted to let you know that the board room table came back looking as good as the day we bought it. Equally as important, the installers did a great job reassembling the table upon its return. As I mentioned before - and now that I've seen the results on the table - we have a couple of coordinating pieces that I'd like to talk to you about refinishing.

Great new kitchen !
I recently had New England Refinishing completely refinish my tired kitchen. While I looked at re-facing and/or replacing all my cabinets, after speaking with Ed and his crew I decided to have them refinished. What was once old dark and tired oak cabinets are newly finished, bright and beautiful. The quality and professional work was outstanding and also done less expensivley than re-facing! I highly recommend doing business with NE Refinishing. Thanks Ed!

Beautiful Work!!
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful job you did on our table. It is great to see that tiny bit of history, but yet, have a beautiful piece of furniture that is restored so well. It is an art what you and your employees do. Since the table was given to me by my parents it has sentimental value. I will give it to my daughter someday.

Fantastic Job!!!! :)
We were looking for some company to refinish our kitchen cabinets. We did not want them refaced, as refacing actually replaces your existing cabinet doors and puts laminate facing on the frames of your cabinets. We wanted them refinished, because they are real wood cabinets in need of a refreshing finish. We found NE Refinishing while doing a search on the internet. We were pleased with Ed and his staff from the first moment I spoke to him on the initial phone call. When Ed showed us a sample of how our cabinet doors would look after he did his "magic", we were sold. Our cabinets were originally painted white so we had them refinished white again. The frames were painted to match what the doors were going to look like. The final product was absolutely beautiful and we are so pleased, that we are lining up other projects for Ed and his team to work on in the future!! We would recommend Ed and his team to anyone who needs an excellent refinisher. Thanks a bunch, Ed!!

Refinished and restored grandmother's furniture
NE Refinishing completely repaired and refinished many pieces that I inherited from my grandmother, all wonderfully and expertly done. The challenge was the dining room set that needed repair. They repaired a sagging buffet and restored its beautiful finish. The china cabinet was wobbly and the shelves were thin - they replaced the old shelves with heavy walnut matched perfectly and again restored the finish. Finally the table and six chairs were done. Not only did they do fantastic work, they stood behind their work and repaired a problem after the fact with honesty and integrity. I would recommend them to anyone that needs quality refinishing work.

Australian Table

Repair and refinished a family heirloom
Ed and his highly capable team were able to restore and refinish my grandmother's antique dining room table. Ed was in constant contact with me throughout the restoration process. He thought of several diffent option of restoring my treasured table. I found New England Refinishing through the internet and had no frame of reference for the work they perform. Going on blind faith, I called to have the table picked up and the repairs done. I am extremely happy with the finished product. The table and the repairs are first rate! My grandmother would be proud of her table. I highly recommend New England Refinishing!
